REPOST FROM @leahsooutspoken: “Why don’t we ever talk about this.? It’s like one of those things everybody knows about but sweeps it under the rug. Why is that? I know many black women who have been sexually abused as kids… A lot of those women are the ones in strip clubs, adult films, or some rappers video half naked. Did you know that women who have been sexually abused as kids have twice the chance of becoming promiscuous than those who didn’t? Did you know that the #majority of sexually abused girls KNOWS EXACTLY WHO DID IT and is most likely someone in their family or a close friend of the family?? Hmmmm but I guess I’m the only person who knows that huh?
