Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut are like cell phones for the Abosom. When we engage in ritual song, dance, prayer, meditation, etc. we call the Abosoms’ numbers. The line of communication is then open and we have an exchange.
The akyiwadefo are like cell phones without service. Such cell phones can be “turned on” however, no matter how many times they dial numbers, there will never be a connection.
