Unconditional love is when a daughter is treated like a princess by her King. An important factor in a Father and Daughter relationship is that A father is the FIRST man in her life that can show her what Unconditional Love looks like and what it is supposed to be.

My take: No truer words have ever been spoken. A daughter’s #relationship with her father is her 1st relationship with a #man. I don’t have any scientific research on hand, but it stands to reason that if a father honors and treats his daughter like a #princess she most likely will not tolerate any other type of treatment. You can either be taught your #worth by your father or grow up and #learn the hard way through #bad relationships. I’m not saying it’s #always like this, but I don’t think I’m far off from the #feelings/experiences of a lot of #women. If your #dad is open and giving in all ways you feel the #security and #validation in that, but if there is even one aspect of the relationship that is weak, such as #emotional withholding or withdrawal, that same #girl can grow up to be a #woman looking for love from #emotionally withholding men. That was my experience anyway. I think the best way for a woman to avoid the pitfalls is to be #aware of where all her stuff stems from then act accordingly.

My father was an #amazing man. To look at how all of his #children turned out you know he was a constant figure in our lives. He provided, protected, counseled, and disciplined. There is no question he loved us fiercely. I thank him for all that he taught us. Love you, daddy. Thank you for watching over us from the other side. #ancestor
